Seniors Summer Outing 2023

July 15, 2023 - Gaia Care kicked off our 1st seniors summer outing. There were about 30 seniors from Chinatown participated at the event. At Port Moody, our first destination, we first held the fall prevention exercise together and enjoyed the scenery and sunshine. As many of our participants have mobility issues, some said they could hardly go for a picnic without the help of another person. After a nice lunch, we all went to Burnaby Mountain Rose Garden to take photos with the colorful blooming flowers. Seniors all appreciated the efforts made by Gaia's staff and volunteers who made it all possible for them to get outside.
