4. Why does GCCWS collaborate with Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care?

GCCWS believes in “letting every idea bloom.” Since 1994, Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care (Yee Hong) has been delivering high-quality, culturally appropriate services to Chinese and other ethnic seniors in Greater Toronto, and has become a model of excellence in culturally appropriate seniors’care. By partnering with Yee Hong, GCCWS does not need to reinvent the wheel. Instead, GCCWS is learning from Yee Hong’s proven, successful care model to establish its own services and programs to meet the needs of the Chinese and other ethnic seniors and family caregivers in Greater Vancouver.
